Sunrise Jigsaw Australia

Sunrise Jigsaw Australia - Urangan Pier

A vibrant beach sunrise is captured in this jigsaw of coastal Australia.  Urangan Pier is an iconic Queensland pier located in the beautiful Hervey Bay.  It was built from 1913 to 1917 for the transfer of cargo to ships.  Originally it was 1124 metres in length, however 239 metres of length was demolished in 1985 when the pier was closed.  The length of the pier today is 868 metres and it has been fully restored.  As a family we have holidayed in Hervey Bay regularly with our little van.  Visiting the pier and walking it’s distance is always a must, as is an icecream.

So of course, cue the obligatory family photo on the pier, back when the kids were much younger.

Sunrise Jigsaw Australia

The image of the ‘Urangan Pier Sunrise’ jigsaw was taken in April, 2018.  A beautiful peaceful morning when I ventured out to see what Mother Nature would deliver.  I also captured ‘Urangan Pier, Morning Chat‘ on this same morning.  It’s quite a busy place in the mornings with fishermen at the end of the pier, joggers and of course a photographer or two hoping to catch a beautiful sunrise.  😉

Urangan Pier Sunrise is available in a range of sizes.  I recently had it on my jigsaw puzzle table.  I really enjoyed completing it and found a new appreciation of the image.  The leading lines of the pier leading you into the image were my favourite part.  I had thought the deck lines would be a challenge but in the end the differing line patterns helped with this part of the puzzle.  The cloudless sky may look a little daunting, however there is easily enough colour gradient change from left to right and top to bottom to enjoy the thrill of finding the next piece.

So is it time to add to the puzzle shelf?  If so, make sure to grab one today and enjoy the challenge of completing this stunning jigsaw.
